Guide to Industrial Beef Freedom
Hey, we get it! Buying beef from a rancher might be new for some folks. Here's a step by step guide of how the process works with us. We offer total customizable options with our bulk beef bundles. Our inventory of select package bundles are in very high demand and always sell out quickly, we do our best to keep them in stock, and always annouce before an item drop!
1. Choose your Bulk beef amount
- Making a plan for your family's health can seem like a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be! When purchasing beef in bulk, you get both enough meat to fill your freezer, as well as paying less than at a grocery store, AND you have the peace of mind of knowing EXACTLY where your meat is coming from.
- Since you'll be receiving your bulk beef order at once, it is important to ensure adequate freezer space to accomodate your entire order. This quick guide to help select the appropriate size beef for you.
- Our 1/8th share features 45-50lbs, and needs approximately 5CU ft of freezer space.
- Our 1/4 share contains 100lbs, requiring 10CU ft.
- Our 1/2 share has over 200lbs, and commands 20CU ft of freezer space.
- Finally, our whole beef shares boast over 400lbs, and needs approximately 40CU ft of freezer space.
- Our beef remains fresh for up to a year when kept frozen. We recommend using either a large or multiple deep freezers when purchasing a half or whole beef.
- On inventory orders that do not require a deposit, we process as they come in, and inventory may deplete quickly. When an item is out of stock, we will work to restock as quickly as possible.
2. Once you've placed your deposit, we will reach out to you.
- We have pre-selected seasonal batch dates set with our butcher throughout the year. That means we are only butchering set numbers in spring, summer, and fall. So, once you place your deposit, your share has been reserved. Our beef dry ages for 21 days before processing, so it could be 20 days or could be 60+ days before you physically hold your beef, depending on time of year.
- When we reach out to you following your deposit, we will first let you know the estimated timeframe expected for your beef to be processed and delivered
- Next, we will go over your desired cut sheet. Steak thickness, bone-in/bone-out, roast cuts and thickness, etc. Your cut sheet is completely customizable!
3. Finalize your order
- After we have our call discussing your desired cut sheets and your beef goes to processing, we will send you an invoice via email for your remaining balance. Once received, a confirmation email will be sent when your beef is finished, along with tracking numbers to know exactly when your box(es) will be arriving to your door!
- We ONLY ship on MONDAY and TUESDAY during the week. That ensures delivery by the weekends. We also will not ship past the second week of December for Christmas, so if you want that special Christmas dinner centerpiece, the earlier you order, the better!
